For the sweet and sour vegetables with fragrant rice, peel and chop the onion. Foam some butter in a pot, sauté the onion in it until colorless. Add the rice, double the amount of hot water, bring to the boil, add cloves, cinnamon bark, cardamom and a little salt, cover and simmer on low heat. Duration: according to the time indicated on the package. Then cover and set aside.
Clean the green beans and blanch them in boiling salted water until firm to the bite. Then rinse in ice water.
Chop the cashew nuts. Clean the pineapple and cut into 1 cm pieces.
Heat some oil in a pan, fry the peppers and bean sprouts briefly, then add the pineapple, green beans, ginger and nuts, stir-fry and season with honey, ketchup and soy sauce.
Serve the sweet and sour vegetables with fragrant rice.
