The hard-boiled eggs are cut into slices or possibly cubes. In the meantime, sauté the chopped onions until translucent, remove from the heat, add the paprika and pour a little hot water on top. Put it back on the flame, add salt and cook the onions in the covered saucepan until soft. The result is a creamy oil sauce.

The cut eggs are put into the sauce, a little water is added and it is boiled. It is served with egg barley or long grain rice.
