Cut meat into small narrow strips. Season with paprika, salt, pepper and herbs de Provence. Peel garlic clove, chop finely and sauté in hot oil. Add meat and roast until crispy brown. Remove peel from onions and cut into fine rings. Rinse lettuce, drain well and pluck into bite-sized pieces. Bake pita breads in toaster or possibly in oven. Steam bread slightly, cut away a small piece at the top. Open the remaining bread like a sack. Spread cream cheese inside. Fill with lettuce, meat strips and onion rings and bring to the table on the spot.

Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
