For the sour cherry cake, preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Beat the eggs with the zukka and the grated lemon zest.

Stir in the oil, sour cherry juice and egg liqueur. Stir in the grated walnuts, mix flour with baking powder and stir in as well.

Finally, fold in chocolate chips and drained sour cherries. Stir in cinnamon to taste and spread the batter evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for approx. 40 minutes – simply test with chopsticks.
