Lemon Grass with Hue Style Braised Beef

Try this delicious noodle dish:

(bo kho Hue)

Do not rinse the meat, just dry it with paper towels and cut it into approx.

4 cm cubes.

Cut tomatoes into quarters.

For the marinade, crush garlic cloves, minced saffron, sugar, lemongrass, minced onion, Nuoc-mam sauce pure, pepper, salt and crushed ginger root mix well. Pour the marinade over the meat and let it sit for about 1 hour.

Heat oil in a pot, brown meat, first without marinade, and quickly stirring, then pour marinade over and cook until tender, about 3 minutes.

Fill up with water, let it boil and stew with the lid closed for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours until tender. Just before serving, add the tomatoes.

Make pasta in hot salted water for 15 minutes, pour into a colander, rinse with cold water, set aside on a plate.

For the sauce, chop the peppers, mix with the diluted nuoc mam sauce and pour into a sauce bowl.

Serving: In each dinner bowl, place about.50 g rice noodles form, a few pieces of meat with marinade on top evenly. Sprinkle with washed, dabbed dry and chopped parsley, bring to table on the spot.

Drinks: Herbal tea

Tips: Saffron can be substituted with curry. Instead of rice noodles, long grain rice also tastes good with this dish.
