For filled breakfast roll first grate the cheese coarsely. Wash the tomatoes and cut into 4 slices. Cut the ham slices into quarters. Wash the onion and cut into small rolls.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

Cut off the top of the rolls and remove the soft inside.

Spread half of the cheese on the rolls. Place 4 ham quarters on each roll (the ham slices fit better in the rolls when cut into quarters). Place a slice of tomato on top. Sprinkle the young onion on top. Slide one egg into each roll. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and salt and pepper the rolls.

For each roll, tear off a generous piece of aluminum foil and place the roll on top. Place the edge of the aluminum foil around the roll.

Place the filled breakfast rolls on a baking tray and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes until the egg has set and the cheese has melted. It’s best to keep checking, because every oven is different.
