The day before the guests arrive, mix finely chopped onion and spices with whipped cream and crème fraîche to make a spicy sauce. The schnitzel meat is placed in this sauce in a large shallow roasting pan and topped with slices of bacon. The whole thing must be left in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Then the roaster is put into the oven heated to 200 degrees. After 100 to two hours, the whole thing is well done and can be served with baguette and iceberg lettuce.
Tip: Cook only with high-quality spices – they are the be-all and end-all in a good dish!
