First, preheat the oven to 175 °C.
Cream butter and add egg, vanilla sugar, sugar, honey and spices. Mix flour with baking powder and stir 2/3 of it together with the milk into the honey mixture.
Mix everything with the rest of the flour to form a firm dough and let it cool for 60 minutes.
Roll out the dough 1/2 cm thick and cut out gingerbread. Place the gingerbread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
For the icing, mix the egg white with the powdered sugar until smooth and brush the cooled gingerbread with it.
