Instructions:

Drain the white beans and kidney beans with the hominy in a colander. Clean and rinse the spring onions and cut them into strips.

Fry the steaks in hot corn oil on 2 or automatic heat 9-10 for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.

Remove and keep warm.

Add the spring onions and peppers to the remaining fat and sauté for 3 minutes on 2 or automatic heat 8-9 until translucent, add 400 ml water and bring to the boil. Stir in the soup powder and cook on 1 1/2 or automatic heat 5-6 for about 1 minute. Add the beans and hominy and heat through. Season the dish with cayenne pepper. Serve the Mexican vegetables with the steaks.

Side dish tip: baguette.
