For the ham rolls, preheat the oven to 230 degrees. Lightly grease an uncoated baking tray.
Sift the flour with baking powder and salt in bowl. Using 2 knives, work the cold fat and butter into the dry ingredients until you have a coarse crumb. Add the ham, then pour in the cow’s milk and mix with a wooden spoon – the dough should fall loosely from the spoon.
Place 4 tablespoons of dough per roll on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a space of 2-3 cm between the rolls. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the ham rolls are golden brown.
