Heat olive oil in a saucepan. Fry the onions, ham and bacon until golden brown. Add the chopped tomatoes to the saucepan and sauté. Season with paprika, pepper and salt, add saffron and bay leaf spices. Drain the beans and add them to the saucepan. Add tap water, bring to boil and simmer for one hour at low temperature.

Finally, add the sausage – uncut – and cook for twenty minutes. Season again, remove the laurel and put on the table.

Our tip: Use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
