A cake recipe for all foodies:

1. preheat oven to 175 degrees. Beat the butter and sugar until creamy, then gradually add the eggs and finally stir in the flour and rum or arrack.

Pour the dough into a small, greased and crumbled loaf pan. Smooth the surface and bake in the hot oven on the middle shelf for about thirty minutes until the cake is golden brown.
