For babies and children: main meal
With this dessert your child gets what it needs: egg whites through curd and oatmeal, carbohydrates also through the fruit, puree, flakes and sugar, and fat through frying. At the same time, the oranges provide enough vitamins, the powidl fiber and the curd cheese calcium.
Beat egg with sugar and lemon zest until creamy. Gradually add curd, semolina with baking powder, flakes and salt. Let the dough rise for half an hour. Remove the peel from the oranges except for the pulp, divide into wedges and cut each wedge into 2-3 pieces, mix with honey. Mix the dough with a little bit of milk until soft. Using a damp tablespoon, cut off a unit of dough and form small, flat cakes with wet hands. Heat clarified butter in a large, coated frying pan. Fry the small cakes over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. If necessary, add a little more clarified butter while frying. Arrange the hot quark cakes on a plate with a dab of Powidl and the orange salad.
In case you want to eat with us: The unit is equally enough for one adult and one toddler.
Tip: Instead of clarified butter, you can also use butter in most cases.
