A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Cut radicchio into quarters, shape into a gratin dish, drizzle with 6 tbsp oil and steam in the stove at 225 degrees for a few min until soft.

Cut shallots into thin slices, sauté until soft, mix with all other ingredients and bring to a boil for 2 minutes. Then pour the marinade over the radicchio form, cover everything together and rest for at least 24 hours.
