For babies and children: creamy soup.
Winter vegetables are often rejected by children because they are not so tender and have a distinct taste of their own. This soup tastes good to all children, is very digestible and rich in important nutrients. That is why it is also ideal for sick toddlers and little soup nerds.
The ingredients are for 1 adult and 2 kids.
Rinse the vegetables, remove the peel, clean and cut into cubes, leek into strips. Boil well with the clear soup for 25 minutes. Add milk and mash the vegetables. Heat the soup again, add the mini sausages. Whip the cream until half stiff and fold into the soup with the herbs. Season the soup with the spices and bring to the table.
Try also once a vegetable soup from half potatoes, half red beets. Or a green soup made of spinach, leek and Chinese cabbage. The leek has to be steamed at the beginning, Chinese cabbage comes a little later and the spinach at the very end.
You can also make a mild sauce from the vegetables by adding 150 g of cream and 2 tbsp of grated cheese instead of milk and whipped cream.
Our tip: If you like to cook with fresh herbs, it is best to get kitchen herbs in pots – so you always have everything ready!
