For the Russian slices, cream butter, yolks and sugar until fluffy. Melt the chocolate.

Stir in chocolate, nuts, flour and baking powder. Beat the 6 egg whites until stiff and fold in. Spread the dough on a baking tray and bake for about 15 minutes at 170°C.

For the glaze, beat the egg whites and stir in the sugar. Spread on the dough and sprinkle with grated nuts.

Put the Russian slices in the oven again for about 5-10 minutes and finish baking.
