Wash and hull the strawberries and cut half of them into smaller pieces. Mash the remaining half with a fork or puree with a blender, as desired. Mix with the chopped strawberries and season to taste with a dash of Grand Marnier and a little sugar.

Whip the cream until stiff, adding vanilla sugar towards the end. Allow the vanilla ice cream to thaw briefly until creamy and then mix spoon by spoon with the strawberries. Quickly arrange in bowls or dishes and garnish with the sweetened whipped cream.

Decorate the strawberry cream with mint leaves and serve immediately.
