Attention, the preparation begins several days in advance! From the ice cream (best with an ice cream scoop maker) prick 4 large or 8 small balls. Immediately place them in the freezer and freeze for at least an hour until very firm. Meanwhile, mix the egg, flour and water to make a very firm dough. On a plate, mix the bread crumbs with the coconut flakes. Now take one hard-frozen ice cream ball from the freezer, quickly coat it with the dough, roll it in the breadcrumb and coconut mixture and put it back in the freezer. It’s best to let it freeze really well again for a few days. Then heat enough oil in a deep pot and deep fry each ice cream ball individually for a few seconds. Lift out and serve immediately together with sliced fresh fruit.
