For the deviled eggs, remove the eggs from the refrigerator and place them in a pot of ice cold water. Using cold water will prevent the eggs from cracking when boiled.
Place the eggs with a teaspoon of salt and bring to a boil, hard boil over medium heat for about 8 minutes. Quench eggs one at a time from the boiling pot in ice cold water, remove from cold water after 2 minutes and leave for a bit.
Peel the eggs, cut them in half, take out the yolk and mix with salt, paprika and mayonnaise. Fill this mixture into a piping bag and squirt it into the egg halves.
Arrange the stuffed eggs and serve.
