Cut the bread roll into very small pieces and pour hot water over it. Mix well the onion, minced meat, egg and the softened and squeezed bread roll. Season with freshly grated nutmeg, salt, pepper and thyme. Form small minced steaks and grill on a grill grate greased with oil for about 5 minutes on each side, turning the grill so that the minced steak gets a rhombus-like pattern.
