Try this delicious cake recipe:
5 tbsp. sour cream or crème fraiche,or sour cream.
Briefly knead together butter, sour cream or crème fraiche, flour and salt and refrigerate the dough for 1 hour. Roll out dough 1/2 cm thick, brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Cut into 3 x 3 cm pieces and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 190 degrees for about 10 minutes until light brown. The cookies taste best fresh. They can be kept in a tightly closing tin for up to 14 days. Variation: Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 3/4 cm, brush with egg yolk, sprinkle with caraway or poppy seeds. Cut into pieces as previously indicated and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
