First prepare the dough: To do this, cream butter and knead together with all the other ingredients mentioned to form a smooth dough. Cover and let rest in a cool place for about 30 minutes.
After about 20 minutes of resting, preheat the oven to 180 °C. Grease baking tray or line with baking paper.
Form small balls from the dough and place them on the prepared baking tray. Press a small hollow in the center of each ball and fill it with jam. Bake in a hot oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Allow the jam doughnuts to cool and store in well-sealed cookie tins.
