For the lumberjack steaks, rinse meat in cold water and dry with paper towels. Peel garlic clove and chop finely. Wash fresh herbs, shake dry, remove stems and pluck leaves into small pieces. Mix garlic, herbs, cayenne pepper and oil. Coat meat on both sides with this mixture and let sit with lid closed for about 2 hours.

Wash peppers, pat dry and cut into large pieces. Put them on skewers. Cut bread in half lengthwise and spread with butter. Sprinkle with pepper. Grill wood-fired steaks in oven (preheated to grill setting) or on grill with indirect heat for about 20 minutes, skewers and bread for about 10 minutes.

Serve everything together.
