Note: must be prepared three days in advance!!!
Soak the wheat for three days, but renew the tap water every day.
Drain the wheat, melt the starch flour in the cow’s milk, add the grated lemon skin. Put the cow’s milk with the starch on the fire and boil it at low temperature, stirring all the time. As soon as the liquid starts to become creamy, turn it off and pour in the wheat.
Let it cool down and add the chocolate and the candied pumpkin strips cut into small pieces. Pour onto a serving platter and spread with the cherries and other fruit. If you like, add a little cinnamon in a criss-cross pattern.
made in the same way as the crem of the cannoli.
Tip: Cinnamon gives dishes a wonderful sweet and spicy note!
