Soak apricots the night before, covered with water, and boil until soft. Stir the brandy, spices and a tablespoon of oil, brush the meat with it and leave for about 30 minutes. Cook the long grain rice according to package directions. Heat remaining oil in frying pan, pour in meat and roast for about 15 min. until brown all over. Salt and keep warm. Add apricots with their juice, remaining marinade and the butter to the roast stock form, stir and cook a little. Stir the creme fraiche into the sauce, season if necessary. Cut meat into slices, serve with long grain rice and apricots. Serve with the sauce.
