For Baked Topfenfleckerl, boil dough fritters in salted water until crispy, then drain and rinse. Cut bacon and ham into strips. Heat some butter in a pan and fry bacon and ham in it.

Butter a gratin dish and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Mix salt, curd cheese, pepper, chopped basil and sour cream. Stir in dumplings, bacon and ham. Stir in some whipped cream.

Pour this mixture into the baking dish and place a few knobs of butter on top.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180° C for about 30 minutes.

Serve baked potato pancakes with green salad!
