For the baked elder flowers, harvest the elder flowers on a sunny day. Handle carefully so that the pollen stays on the blossoms! Prepare the beer batter from beer, eggs, flour, milk and salt.

Heat the oil in a large pot. Dip elderflowers in the batter and bake them out in hot oil.

Serve the baked elderflowers with vanilla ice cream and powdered sugar.
