For the potato bread, place the whole wheat flour in a large enough bowl.

Press bulge in the center, let yeast melt in warm buttermilk, pour into the flour center and stir everything together to a thick porridge.

Dust with flour, let rise for 15 minutes. Then knead in potato mixture and salt. Put the dough into a greased loaf pan and let it rise again briefly.

Bake at 200 °C for about 50 minutes. After baking, remove from the pan and brush the surface of the bread with melted butter.
