For the grammel dumplings, boil the potatoes with the skin, strain and let cool slightly. Peel and strain the potatoes.
Mix with the remaining ingredients to form a dough. Form the dough into a roll.
For the stuffing, finely chop the grams and mix with onion, egg, salt, garlic, marjoram, green parsley and breadcrumbs.
Form small dumplings from the mixture. Cut slices from the potato roll, cover with a grammel dumpling and form dumplings.
Put the grammel dumplings into boiling salted water and cook for about 15 minutes. Take out grammel dumplings and serve with sauerkraut.
