To make the plucked bread with cheese and bacon, cut the bread lengthwise and crosswise in a grid pattern, not completely to the bottom.
Carefully pull the bread apart and fill the spaces with cheese and bacon cubes. Add salt and pepper to taste and brush the bread with olive oil.
Put the bread in the oven at about 180°C for 15-20 minutes and bake until the cheese is completely melted and the plucked bread with cheese and bacon is crispy.
