1 pinch of liquid seasoning, e.g. Maggi sour cream, cream, m, to refine.

Sauté chopped onions in hot fat until soft. Dust with flour. Pour in cold water (1). Add the peeled and quartered potatoes. Add salt, paprika and bay leaf spice and cook until the potatoes are mashed. Mash half the amount with a wooden spoon. Add the sausages to the soup and lightly roll them. In the meantime cook the dumplings. Gnocchi: In a deep dish, beat egg with water (2) and add as much flour as it takes. Cut the dumplings with a teaspoon and put them into the boiling soup. Steep for 20 minutes.

Season with a dash of vinegar and liquid seasoning. Finish with cream.
