For the pasta with fennel sauce, bring some water to a boil. In the meantime, cut the fennel into small pieces. Add the cut fennel to the hot water and steam for about 15 minutes.
Then add cream cheese, whipped cream and parmesan and boil again. Refine the whole thing with spices to taste and puree everything with a hand blender to a fine sauce.
Cook the pasta according to package instructions and serve with the sauce.
