Old Viennese Style Tomato Sauce

Lightly sauté chopped onion in butter. Coarsely chop yellow beet and add together with bacon or ham slice and parsley bunch, fry briefly and pour white wine. Add coarsely chopped tomatoes and saute until all moisture has evaporated. Dust with flour and pour hot soup. Mix everything well, remove parsley as well as bacon and strain the sauce through a sieve.

Bring to the boil again in a fresh pot, season to taste with sugar and a little hot paprika powder and serve hot.
