Heat the broiler. Once the flames are extinguished (the embers are white), heat a broiler lightly brushed with oil over the embers and grill the baguette slices on it. Finely whisk olive oil and garlic and brush the baguette slices with it.
Tomato salsa: Cut tomatoes in half and remove the core and most of the seeds. Dice the flesh. Cut the basil leaves into strips and add to the tomatoes with the lime juice. Halve the chili pepper, remove the seeds and cut into small cubes. Cut the red onion also into small cubes and add both. Season with Sweet Chili Sauce, salt and freshly ground pepper.
Guacamole: Peel avocados, cut in half and remove pit. Coarsely mash with salt, lime juice, diced chili, pepper and olive oil con lime.
Serve: Top grilled baguette slices with tomato salsa and guacamole and bring to table.
