For the Edelkirschlikörkugeln, melt the chocolate coating in a water bath. Mix in nuts and powdered sugar and mix well. Then add the cherry liqueur and let the mixture rest for about half an hour.
Form small balls, place on baking paper and let cool. To decorate, dip in melted chocolate coating or a cherry liqueur and water mixture.
Then roll in coconut flakes, chopped pistachios, chocolate sprinkles, or hazelnut brittle. Allow the cherry liqueur balls to harden and place them in praline molds.
