For the Chinese Cabbage and Potato Stew with Debreziner Sausages, cut the Chinese cabbage in half lengthwise. Cut both halves into thin strips, wash and drain.

Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Dice tomatoes as well. Clean the potatoes and wash well, as the skin should remain on (all those who do not want to eat the skin can of course peel the potatoes).

Then cut them into cubes. Cut the debreziner into wheels. First sauté the onion in a pot with olive oil. Then add the chopped Chinese cabbage and tomatoes and let them steam a bit more.

Now pour the vegetable soup, press the garlic cloves into the pot and add the tomato paste and cumin. Cover everything and let it simmer on low heat.

After about 15 minutes of cooking, add the potatoes and the debreziner to the pot and let everything simmer covered for another 15 minutes. Just before the end of the cooking time, add the processed cheese and stir well.

Then remove the pot from the heat, stir the sour cream into the stew, season with salt and pepper and serve hot.
