Stir through sugar and juice of one lemon and spread as a mirror on a flat plate. Flour the peeled figs, pass them through a batter of milk, eggs, flour and sugar, finish them in deep fat and turn them to the other side in cinnamon sugar.
Place the fried figs in the sauce pan and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
