Wash the whole chicken well inside and out and dry with kitchen towels.

Mix the spices well in a bowl.

Rub the chicken inside and out with the spices.

Pour about 1 cm of water into the baking tray and place the chicken on it. Spread the butter flakes on top and roast in a preheated oven (170 °C convection oven) for about 1 hour.

During the entire roasting process, baste the roast chicken 3-4 times with the gravy.
