Swr : What the grandmother still knew: laurel .a Roll the lard pieces in sage, lard the liver with it and put it with the laurel leaves in a baking dish as narrow as possible. Sprinkle the sugar over it, add the wine and let it stand for at least one night.

Cover a gratin dish with the bacon slices. Add the meat and pour some of the marinade. Roast in the oven heated to 220 °C for 1 hour. Can be served just as cooled.

Our tip: Use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
