Grease a baking dish. Wash the cauliflower and divide into florets. Peel and chop the onion. Cut ham into small pieces.
Cook cauliflower in salted water until al dente and drain. Heat oil in a frying pan. Sauté the onion in it, add the ham and fry briefly. Mix the cauliflower with the ham-onion mixture and pour into the prepared baking dish.
For the glaze, whisk the eggs, mix in the curd cheese and cream. Season with nutmeg, salt & pepper and spread over the vegetables. Bake the casserole in the oven at medium heat until crispy.
