Peel and grate the potatoes. Put them in a deep baking bowl, add flour, egg and salt. Small dumplings are cut off and boiled in bubbling water. The bacon is cut into cubes and fried until transparent, then the chopped onion is stewed in it. When the dumplings are cooked, put them on the fat with onion and mix well. Mix the Brimsen and put the dumplings in an ovenproof dish, pour the sour cream over it and bake it in a hot oven.

The dish can be prepared in the same way with other curd cheese or fried white cabbage as well as finely chopped fried sauerkraut.

Our tip: Use bacon with a fine smoky note!
