For the waffle lasagna, first prepare a waffle batter from flour, eggs, milk, lemon juice and sugar and bake in a buttered waffle iron.

Whip the whipped cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff. Place a waffle corner on top, top with whipped cream and fig wedges, and another waffle. Repeat until everything is used up. Sprinkle the waffle lasagna with powdered sugar and serve.
