For the apple and pear tart, shell out plenty of walnuts and roast in the oven at 160 °C for about 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and chop/grate. Empty 150 g of the grated, roasted nuts into a bowl and also chop/grate the dates.

Add to the nuts, add some cinnamon powder and knead well. Pour as a base into a tart pan lined with baking paper (spread with your hands).

For the cream, wash, core and cut 6 apples into pieces. Put them in a saucepan with some water and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and boil them down to a pulp.

As soon as they are soft enough, puree to a cream. Mix some water with vanilla pudding powder until smooth and add to the applesauce to make it firm.

Wash the two pears and cut them into wedges, sprinkle with lemon juice. Now cover the date-nut base with the pear wedges and spread the applesauce on top.

Chill in the refrigerator, preferably overnight.
