For Stuffed Peaches, cut the washed peaches in half, remove the pit, and hollow out the halves a tiny bit more so that they have more room for the filling. Place the fruit in a buttered baking dish.
Mix the cut-out pulp neatly with the remaining ingredients – except for the butter – and stuff into the peach halves.
If there are some amaretti left over, sprinkle a few crumbs of it over the filling. Spread butter flakes on top.
Bake in oven at 180° Celsius for about twenty minutes.
Sprinkle filled peaches with lemon balm and serve hot or lukewarm!
