Instructions:

Peel one onion, cut into fine rings, peel the other onion as well and lard with cloves.

Fry the onion rings in hot fat, add the sugar and fry until golden brown.

Peel apples, cut finely and mix in. Cut the red cabbage into fine strips and add them as well.

Add the onion larded with cloves and the bay leaves and pour in soup – let everything steam for about 30 minutes.

Dust the red cabbage with flour, add salt and red wine.

At the end, let it steam again for about 10 minutes.
