For the pumpkin strudel cut the pumpkin into wedges, remove seeds with a sharp knife and grate, tomatoes pour hot water.
Peel the skin, remove the seeds and cut into cubes. Sauté finely chopped onions in butter, add flour to pumpkin and sauté briefly.
Add egg, sour cream, hard cheese and finely chopped chives, season and add pressed garlic cloves.
Pull out strudel dough, brush two thirds with egg, spread pumpkin filling on top and roll up tightly. Place on a baking tray and bake in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 200 degrees (depending on size).
