Wash one orange with hot water and dab dry. Using a zester, peel off narrow strips of peel. Now peel both oranges thickly and fillet them. Cut the fillets diagonally into pieces. 2.
Bring orange juice and jelling sugar to a boil, add cranberries, simmer for 5 minutes, add orange zest and fillet pieces and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Empty the jam into hot rinsed jars and close them on the spot.
Tip: The jam tastes great as a spread, with steak or cold roast.
