Rinse, remove the stalks and dab 1 kg of plums. Mix the halved and pitted fruits with 100 g of sugar and layer them in the roasting pan of the oven. Steam the plums at 150 °C in the slightly open oven for about 4 hours and stir everything together at the end, adding 1 pinch of cinnamon and 1 pinch of ground cloves.
Fill into prepared jars and close tightly.
