A great cake recipe for any occasion:

Put milk, yeast, flour, fat, sugar, 1 tsp salt and 2 egg yolks in a suitable bowl and knead for 5 min with a mixer until smooth.

Preheat the oven to 50 degrees for 5 min, turn it off and let the covered dough rise in it for 20 to half an hour.

In the meantime, rinse, halve and pit the plums.

Crumble the marzipan paste and mix with 3 egg yolks, 50 g powdered sugar and whipped cream.

Knead the dough, rest for another 10 minutes and roll out evenly on a greased grease pan and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Spread the plums evenly on top. Using a piping bag with a star-shaped nozzle, pipe the marzipan mixture onto the surface of the cake in a grid pattern. Let the cake rise for another 20 minutes. Bake the cake in the oven.

180 to 200 °C , 2nd rack v. U.

160 to 180 °C , convection oven 45 to 50 min.

Cool and bring to the table dusted with 10 g of powdered sugar. A cinnamon cream tastes good with it.
