Instructions:

For the Zupfnockerln, dissolve yeast in lukewarm milk, mix with flour and salt and stir into a smooth dough.

Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about 1/2 hour. Boil salted water, pluck small pieces from the dough, add to boiling water and simmer gently for about 20 minutes.

Stir frequently. Then lift the dumplings out of the water, drain and toss in butter. Mix with parsley and season with salt and pepper.
